SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!"SMU hasn't finished better than sixth in the conference recruiting rankings in the last five years"
But with Sonny! "The Mustangs are arguably the hottest program in the country on the recruiting trail with 11 of their 12 pledges coming in the month of June. It’s a class that ranks No. 1 in the American Athletic Conference, good for No. 37 nationally according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite" https://247sports.com/college/southern- ... 119132191/ C-ya @ Milos!

Absolutely embarrassing.
Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!Great news! Let's not disparage Morris' recruiting too much. If you evaluate players based on how many services they were awarded 3 stars and who their offers are from, we have several quality recruits at each position:
CB: 4 (Johnson, Wyatt, Davis, Hayes) DE: 1 (Ndweke) DT: 6 (Gary, Dotson, Mclauren, Biggurs, Brown, Loveless) LB: 7 (Moore, Denbow, Spears, Wiley, Phillips, Duke, Ripress) OL: 10 (Ali, Livingston, Howerton, Todora, Smith, Webb, Wilds, Thomas, Barton, Morris) QB: 4 (Peavy, Hicks, Brown, Upshaw) RB: 3 (Medlock, Williams, Jones) S: 2 (Clark, Ellison) TE: 4 (Becker, Rau, Redding, Thedford) WR: 4 (Proche, Benson, Page, Bell) The cupboard isn't exactly bare. That said, it's notable how many of Dykes players are in there, and I haven't even worked in the GTs yet.
Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!I haven't been this excited about recruiting since Mike Cavan. Wow, that was 20 years ago
Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!Let's just hope this class closes as strong as it has started. To be fair, Morris lost some of his highest rated guys (who had everyone excited early on) at the 11th hour to P5 programs. If these guys blow up in their senior years, more pressure will come and if they had "dream offers" that haven't come but do come at the 11th hour...
Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!Wise words. Still, it's fun
Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!Let’s hope all our recruits suck this year so we can keep them.

Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!
Whatever it is, it needs to include some grass. The boulevard has been plowed, not unlike some of those who imbibe on game day. Switching to fake or going back with real? (They did leave the trees)
Re: SMU no better than 6th in AAC recruiting last 5 years!Let’s get USC for an away game.
