Group outing assistance

Postby BUS » Tue Jun 26, 2018 7:05 am

Le Tip is a professional Organization of Men and Women that I have been a part of for over 5 years. We plan outings as a social way to get to know each other. Examples are Top Golf and Frisco Rough Rider games.

I contacted the M-Club and then the Ticket office about group tickets. We usually have about 20 to 25 people show up for the social outings. More if it is at a restaurant.

SMU sells tickets for like 15 to 25 dollars per seat for groups. (depends on opponent ) They will put the group name out on the Jumbo Tron, for a tad of advertising. And if you get over 50 people, they can walk on the field and get introduced.

SMU will assist in purchasing food vouchers as well.

This being my first time to explore group deals at SMU, not bad.

At Frisco, they have a full meal and ticket package that comes with a hat. Just thinking with a little tweaking, on perceived freebies, SMU could have a stronger package. IE, a free Tee shirt or hat. ( future advertising impressions )

All in all, not a bad deal, I present to the board later about a game this fall. I'm thinking the Navy game.

Thanks, but how much WOW factor is there in playing Houston Baptist?

And it is 5 dollars a ticket less. The tcwho game is 5 dollars more than the average 20.

Good thought but don't you have to at least know the opponent?

Going back to Destin on October? Any deals?

Yeah, I'd say Houston or Navy will be the best home games. Probably a better crowd at the Houston game.
