Proché Garners Preseason Biletnikoff Watch List Honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (SMU) – Junior James Proché has been named to the 2018 Preseason Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc. announced Thursday. The Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football's outstanding receiver at any position.

In 13 games last season, Proché caught 40 passes for 816 yards and six touchdowns, behind 2018 NFL Draft picks and All-Americans Trey Quinn and Courtland Sutton. Proche also spent time on special teams for the Mustangs and finished with 872 all-purpose yards.

The 2018 award will be presented live on Dec. 6 on ESPN as part of The Home Depot College Football Awards. Ten semifinalists for the award will be announced Nov. 12, while the list will be narrowed down to three on Nov. 20.
