Looks kind of rinky-dink but I imagine it will look cool full of students at all of our home games.

Everyone on this board can just take it over after the students leave in the 3rd.

Is this true? If so, that's great news. Any idea if they are moving from their current section in Ford to be closer to the students?SmooBoy wrote:Band will be biggest in many years (possibly post-DP). *awaits typical band joke replies*Bergermeister wrote:Build a bandstand... an American BandstandSmooBoy wrote: Get the band over there as well and do something different. .
*Edit- Read the rest of the posts with the new number. 92 is awesome.

Re: Student seating announcement
I'm all for trying new things but this new patio LOOKS CHEAP in my opinion (white plywood?). Is this a permanent patio or phase 1? While in need of some updates, Ford is a really classy looking stadium. This could have been executed a lot better. Still not in support of reducing the capacity at Ford. Good coaching, good marketing, good win-loss record, good opponents, good facilities = attendance increase. Despite comments, good luck Ponies for a great season!

That's a proposal photo as it hasn't been built yet. Also it is easily removable.perunapower100 wrote:I'm all for trying new things but this new patio LOOKS CHEAP in my opinion (white plywood?). That's good to know. I figured those graphics couldn't possibly be the final product.smupony94 wrote:That's a proposal photo as it hasn't been built yet. Also it is easily removable.

I see lots of blocked views of the field, especially from above, and the side sections from the

May the forth be with us.
Re: Student seating announcement
Saw our game and two others last year over at TCU. I must have been blind or blitzed because I never saw anything at all at the TCU stadium that looked anything like this. Can't understand why we're giving up so many seats up above this thing, reducing seating capacity even more, as you sure couldn't see the game in one of those seats.SmooBoy wrote:I love the attempt. TCU has similar sections. Get the band over there as well and do something different. No one sits there as it is. Nothing lost on this.
Next stop is figuring out how to get boulevarders away from Dallas Hall lawn rave.
I also expect most on here will beeyotch about it.
