Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedI think Coach Doh scheduled the best he could.....
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedThat is the non-conf schedule of a team with NIT goals.

Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedAndddd we have just eliminated ourselves from the tournament
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedThat is a soft and relaxing non-conference schedule.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedBack in the middle of June i made some comments about our OOC schedule and Janks' recruiting and was thoroughly panned for it.
Now what do you all think of it? Hey ponymanx (formerly known as horsemanx) does this schedule make you happy and elated that we will undoubtedly get an invite to the big dance as we should roll all of these pattycakes. Wonder how all of those who paid up big in the re-seating feel now.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedLoaded up the home schedule with what hopefully will be a lot of wins and opportunity to experiment with lineups and combinations. Not a bad schedule to prepare this year's team for conference play. Not sure this roster is ready to take on a schedule loaded with Top 25 programs. Also have to remember that our recent success (especially at Moody) isn't going to have big name programs lining up to schedule home/home series with us.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedWrong way to reward your season ticket holders after that re-seat debacle. That is a pathetic non-conference and a good way to remove yourself from consideration by the committee.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedThis season SMU is bringing only one (scholarship) freshman (Feron Hunt) into the program.
The team has plenty of college basketball experience. Mike (at Duquesne), Foster, Dixon (30 starts in 17-18), Chargois, Whitt and McMurray have been starters. I wonder why our coaching staff decided not to challenge the team during non-conference play. Soft scheduling (usually) does not build a strong team.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedHopefully Jank won't be here in 2 seasons. This schedule should be a fireable offense.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedI committed an extra $3000 on my seats for this?
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedCurious what the avg RPI is here. If we don’t go undefeated or lose 1 game max, the season is as good as over. Pathetic job scheduling
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedJank is such a scared sack of [deleted]. He must still think he's at Illinois State.
What an absolutely garbage schedule. Hello NIT! BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule released
No surprise that our conference mates are mad at us Mark Norris @markwnorris Final '18 RPIs of SMU basketball's 18-19 non-con opponents is not good NW State (343) Southern Miss (204) Western Carolina (218) Lipscomb (105) Bradley (106) Penn State/Wright State (45/98) Lamar (232) McNeese State (297) Oral Roberts (256) TCU (28) Georgetown (161) Cornell (248)
Re: Full 2018-19 non-conference schedule releasedWe could run this and probably still be left out in March.
Embarrassing. Shake It Off Moody
