Funny that you mention Gonzaga. UT-Arlington is playing at Gonzaga this year. Doubt there is a return game involved. They could have saved a lot of $ on travel costs and played at Moody and helped our RPI out. Also - Texas A&M is playing at Gonzaga - likely a Home and Home scenario.

UTA was dying to play at Moody with no return game

this schedule still pisses me off. All momentum we used to have is pretty much gone. We needed a big schedule this year and we got the complete opposite.

Meanwhile in Ft. Worth - Froggies have 4 NCAA tourney teams from last year on their Non Con schedule (Florida, Rhode Island, Lipscomb, Bucknell), plus USC, Fresno State and SMU. Add that to that their B12 slate and we can no longer make fun of their soft non-con schedule that they have had in years past.
Oh - and their tourney is in Hawaii.

Some of the posters make this sound like the goal of this schedule is the NIT and not the NCAA. With all the new guys this year I think Coath Jank just wants to get some early momentum.

The interview process for D1 athletics is to take out a dollar bill and beat your future supervisor in liar's poker.
Still season ticket holder and hoping for a better year next year.

Am I seeing it right that the TCU game is at 9pm?

WHAT? No traditional New Year's Eve Game or Valentines Day night game?
In fact, only 1 game in 18 days between December 15 and January 2nd (December 22) -odd

Interesting how backloaded the home schedule is. Hopefully we are still playing for something late in the season.
