• The main SMU Alums tailgating tent will be right at the foot of the Pedestrian Bridge on the Fouts Field side. Many visiting alums crossover & go to “The Hill” where you’d find a bohemian atmosphere of fans & students & live music & lots of shade trees.
• Would be wise for fans from Dallas to arrive no later than 4:30pm to 5:00pm for the 6:30 kickoff & should have no problem finding a good parking spot on the Fouts Field side.
Again, it’s where my group always parks & from where the SMU Alums tent will be near the Fouts side Pedestrian Bridge is a an easy 5 minute walk to the Apogee Stadium ticket office.
I parked there last time.......that's a loooong hot hike.
BOOMER SOONERS! Ever been to a game at Owen Field at OU? Now that is a hike. Other similar P5 school stadiums the same. When you have 80,000 fans showing up that would always be the case. I'll be glad when SMU & UNT both have that kind of problem.
Most of us who like our college football like such environments for a game. Our Army game at Apogee last year was a blast. Army brought a big crowd to the game. Just makes it more fun.

We Baby Boomers probably need the walking exercise albeit I never considered that walk from Fouts over the Pedestrian Bride onto Apogee a long one.
I honestly believe a shuttle will be in UNT's future because the Pedestrian Bridge is extremely wide & could easily handle such.
