Total Plays

ntsu 96

SMU 47

As it currently sits, they ran the most plays of anyone in an FBS-FBS game and we ran the least. In fact, we ran nearly 10% less plays than the next worse team. Factor that in with the heat and losing our strong side LB on the 3rd play, the defense should shoulder little of the blame

Defense couldn't make a play on 3rd down all night. Even on 3rd and 15+ you knew UNT was going to convert as the entire middle of the field was wide open every time.

Our D line looks like it might be one of the best we have had in a while. Our pass coverage is complete trash.

Here's a hint...if it is 3rd and 4, don't have the corners line up 8 yards off the ball, then immediately start back peddling once the ball is snapped. We were never on their receivers, just in the vicinity.

Exactly...scared to give up the big play so UNT took what we gave them all night and we never adjusted. Kane should be embarrassed.
