Short week, so let's get them going. Will we surprise people and make it reasonably competitive, or will it be another War crime game?

I'd be willing to guess that it will follow the classic SMU TCU formula:

SMU gets off to a fast start, is up early 7-0, 3-0, 10-3, something along those lines, and then the talent disparity will show, and the Ponies won't have enough gas.

I have my own high school game to play in Friday night so I unfortunately won't be there for the spectacle.

Only real question is whether or not Hicks/Dykes can avoid a shutout? If Hicks & Co. was that bad against a UNT defense, forget about TCU. Not going to surprise Patterson like they did last year, and without the 2 NFL receivers this is a complete and total disaster waiting to happen.
