The weather is not great and hasn't been for the last hour. Pouring rain.

ESPN says lightning delay but game expected to start close to original kick time...there just might not be anyone there watching live?

Just an update. I'm sitting on the floor in the concourse. The announcer periodically reminds us about the delay going until the lighting is 8 miles away. The teams will then watm up for 30 minutes. My daughter who is down below just texted they are looking at an 8:20 kickoff
ETA so much for that.

Do they cancel like San Jose St years ago....and make up if needed. Boulevard is still packed at 8pm.

If it’s canceled it will likely not be made up

even though the school is only 35 minutes away i doubt Fatterson will agree to play tomorrow. He wants the extra day off for Ohio state next week

Best outcome we could hope for! And not too different in number of first downs!

I am trying to keep a straight face as I post this. Will having one less game, all be it against SMU, hurt them if they are in the playoff discussion?

It's amazing they got that game in. There were at least 3 lightening strikes in First Half to the South they may have ignored
