Chad probably wondering who agreed to take a road game to Colorado State and now he has to convince his team that UNT is for real. Would not be surprised to see UNT win next week. Looking like the Hogs will remain the worst team in the SEC and that Chad and company will continue looking for the next Deshaun Watson.

Actually Chad already has a commitment from one that could become the next Watson, and scheduling CSU was done last minute since Michigan cancelled on them to play Notre Dame so they had already penciled in this loss. It was an embarrassing collapse however.

Chad more than likely will be 0-8 in the SEC and his used car shtick will fall on deaf ears as the lynch mobs form in both Fayetteville and Little Rock. HeΓÇÖs in way over his head. This will be ugly in Arkansas and on Finebaum, too.

HeΓÇÖs along way from his Highland Park Swankienda and much much closer to digging himself a smelly SEC outhouse.

I still think he will succeed at Arkansas. But he will start to see the bad side of Arkansas fandom after yesterdayΓÇÖs debacle.

I'm guessing he will appreciate the level of fan interest in the program after his stint at SMU. He won't hide from that defeat any more than he did from that 63-0 thrashing at Memphis in the final game of his 1st season at SMU

It's ok. Today is day one of getting better for the next game, and Arkansas has the chance to go 1-0 this week.

They just need to put the hammer down and have a good week of razorfast practice.

I think he will do well there too. Looks like the previous coach did not leave him much. Maybe not this year but i think he will do well.

Isn't this always the excuse, though? What shouldn't be overlooked is that he made all of the OL and DL lose a ton of weight so they can be mobile and run tempo.

As a result, just like here, at the end of the game when he needs to be able to run the ball and burn clock, he can't. He has to rely on spacing and misdirection to run the ball. When everyone knows he should run, he is forced to continue throwing or he gets stuffed. Defensively, when teams line up to pass, the DL doesn't have the strength to generate a pass rush with a base 4. So, they go into nickel, QB has all day to throw, and they get burnt.

Both of those problems are going to get worse when he heads into SEC play. And regardless of the skill position players he recruits, he is going to continue to lose games getting beat at the line of scrimmage, until he changes that mentality and gets off of the "tempo is everything" concept.

One could argue, in fact, that Clemson took the next step after he left, because they combined his recruits with a more physical approach.

Chad....Chad.....Chad

Another great DC hire in Chavis............giving up 34 to a terrible CSU team.

Will Fine and North Texas add insult to injury this week? Let's hope so.
