I think he will do well there too. Looks like the previous coach did not leave him much. Maybe not this year but i think he will do well.

Isn't this always the excuse, though? What shouldn't be overlooked is that he made all of the OL and DL lose a ton of weight so they can be mobile and run tempo.

As a result, just like here, at the end of the game when he needs to be able to run the ball and burn clock, he can't. He has to rely on spacing and misdirection to run the ball. When everyone knows he should run, he is forced to continue throwing or he gets stuffed. Defensively, when teams line up to pass, the DL doesn't have the strength to generate a pass rush with a base 4. So, they go into nickel, QB has all day to throw, and they get burnt.

Both of those problems are going to get worse when he heads into SEC play. And regardless of the skill position players he recruits, he is going to continue to lose games getting beat at the line of scrimmage, until he changes that mentality and gets off of the "tempo is everything" concept.

One could argue, in fact, that Clemson took the next step after he left, because they combined his recruits with a more physical approach.

Apparently you did not watch the game. They ran straight ahead and picked up large chunks of yards. For some reason Craddock decided passing was more important than ball control and kept emphasizing passes instead of continuing on the ground. Then when they had 4th and inches at midfield with a 18 point lead they and a 6ΓÇÖ7ΓÇ¥, 270 lb QBchose to punt. Gave up a 96 yard drive for a TD and never recovered.

And I do believe NTSU will beat them also because their pass defense sucks.

He's literally reading every line of coach speak right off the notes.

"Hire me to tell you to hand the ball off when it's been working all night. I work cheaper than anyone you have on staff. I have a new profound epiphany. Most coaches barely make it through college(see History/Kinesiology majors). Then get in a good ole boy coaching network and a few land high paying jobs, because of their friend connections. This isn't on the players, your coaches lost it for you. Coach what happened to all that full tilt boogie etc stuff. You're in the SEC, every game is one bad decision from a loss. Go Hogs! Congrats to Colorado State!"

"No excuse not to go for it with 4th and a half yard. Oh well. The team deflated after that. That second half looked pathetic. Did they forget there was two more quarters after halftime?? Lets not make any adjustments and have the offense go 3 and out and rely on our "Swiss Chavis Cheese" defense to stop them. Let's make them constantly throw to the same guy to beat us. I am sure after enough pitch and catch the QB or the receiver will have to get tired, eventually. "Swiss Chavis Cheese" the New Swiss Colony treat available at your local grocery store. Only available until the Friday after Thanksgiving."

"I'm glad he went out and got the "Best D coordinator in the country" Joe Craddock is not an offensive coordinator. He's just a friend of Morris. We have too much talent to lose to that team."

Me , too !! CM's conservative play calling and deer in the headlights look when "Mo" changed jerseys looked
oh so familiar. I really don't think he'll ever be a good head coach. A lot of BS but not much substance to this guy.

Gerry Fraley tweeted:
Chad Morris moving up in the fraud ratings. Left little behind at SMU. About to lose at Colorado State with Arkansas, which is a mess.

Best Hoggie comment I saw: "If you aspire to be SMU don't get upset when you become SMU."

I am going to the Arkansas/Ole Miss game and had planned on wearing SMU gear. Getting a little afraid to now.

I'm not sure he gets more than 2, unless he changes his offense-only philosophy a lot.

WeΓÇÖre going to the Alabama/Arkansas game and I was planning on wearing a blue SMU cap, maybe not now! Likely not smart!
