Men’s Soccer OuchAnother loss at home. This time a 3-1 loss to Houston Baptist. Hope this isn’t foreshadowing of the football game next week.
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchWeren’t we #8 preseason? Didn’t see the game except a bit on ponytv. Isn’t hbu a bottom 50 team in ncaa soccer?
Re: Men’s Soccer Ouchwe really haven't had a consistently good soccer team since SH left years ago. Sad but true.
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchYes, it's a reloading year. Anyone who thought they would match last year's team after Clark, Cichero, Nelson, Rice, Welch, etc., graduated wasn't watching. Those were really good players with a ton of experience. There's talent there now (Cuello, McLaughlin, etc.), but loads of young guys are playing, which will lead to ups and downs. We had no business being ranked at the beginning of the year, but they'll be OK. Not conference favorites, but they'll win games.
Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchBeat Gonzaga
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchSolid win today over the Zags.
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchTotal domination of an over matched Gonzaga team. Let's see how our guys look against Tulsa this week before writing them off.
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchWrite them off? Not a chance. Good young players.
Tulsa should be interesting. Always plays SMU tough.
Re: Men’s Soccer OuchVia tweet: Tonight’s match has been ruled no contest because of weather. The match has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22 (tomorrow) at 10 a.m. from the Crum Lacrosse and Sports Field. #PonyUp
