Is Chad leasing that great big house in Ark?

Wow....just wow....Hogs should have hired Seth!

Some say just wait til Chad gets his great recruits, but after a horrible season will those recruits look else-where?

I thought he was a fraud about half way through his first season. He can recruit, but has never proven himself to be anything but an offensive coordinator at the D-I level.

I was glad to see him gone so I could actually watch an SMU press conference again.

He will recruit a bunch of great players to Arkansas just like he did here compared to what we had before he arrived at SMU. I don't begrudge him one bit for increasing our talent level and I think we will see some of it in 2-3 seasons.

Can he coach? We will see. So far the verdict is an overwhelming no.

I don't hate him, I just think he is in way over his head and it's funny to watch from a distance now. His press conferences are no different than the ones he had here.

Maybe something will click and he will take Arkansas from 2-10 this year to 7-5 and a bowl in three seasons. Time will tell.

Like Houston Nutt said when Arky beat Mack Brown's Texas "It was great to beat all of that talent on the other team".

He is getting great commitments. As you say, will he be able to hang on to them? It is much easier to recruit to the SEC than to SMU. Recruiting comparisons cannot be made.

I do not dislike him. I was disappointed in his big talk, flirt and bolt. ΓÇ£If we ain’t gonna get this thing turned...ΓÇ¥

Does anyone really buy the poor inheritance of a team? Seriously? CUSA talent vs SEC talent. Arkansas should have smoked North Texas. I guarantee the team is stacked with 3/4 star guys. The fact that they lost to UNT should embarrass them.

It’s not enough to get great recruits - he isn’t going to be able to out recruit Bama, Auburn, LSU, A&M on a regular basis.

He is going to have to out couch them, and he hasn’t shown that he can do that - at all.

Yet when we hired him I guarantee everyone in this board was elated. And now like when your wife walks out for a wealthier man after you promised her roses and gave her weeds, all of a sudden she is a slut.

Too many are still butt hurt about Chad but like your divorce analogy, all will be forgotten if Sonny turns out to be an upgrade and we are able to move on.

BOOM!!! It's a great day to be a Razorback.

Hated him as a head coach, glad he's history and enjoy seeing him making piggy fans as miserable as pony fans were. Will the commits he took with him to piggyland be their stars of tomorrow? Doubt it.

The big question is whether his interior decorator will finish furnishing the house before he is gone.

I will take your word for that but I do not recall hearing anyone saying anything but praise. And I also recall everyone assuming we were a steppingstone.

For the record I believe Chad will be successful at Arkansas and I am much happier today with Sonny simply because I do not have the same belief that he is shopping his resume weekly.

So keeping with your analogy, we didn't marry the girl, just "dated" her thoroughly?

And she chose to go to the Prom with a Pig?
