It’s a false dichotomy. Man has impacted climate. The question is how much and whether there’s anything we can or even should do about it short of demanding that China stop industrializing. Priuses won’t do it.

Boy do I have a website for that reason. Guess what's #1? This is a great website to learn based on what bad faith news organizations and politicians say (all sides) vs what the sciencey folks have actually reported.

Global Warming & Climate Change Myths

Here is a summary of global warming and climate change myths, sorted by recent popularity vs what science says.

1 "Climate's changed before"

Myth explanations have multiple tabs from simplicity to verbosity in terms of explanation.

Exactly, that is the conversation we should be having. How much would it cost to pause or reverse effects? What would be the impact of that investment? What is the monetary and human impact if nothing is done? And then you make educated decisions moving forward.

Instead, industry, politicians, and affiliated news networks want to keep the argument about whether or not the sky is blue.

Why ask a scientist when we all know Mrydel was there for it all. Just have to trust his memory.

That was a fun read. Man DOES have weight on climate but we really don't know the whole picture.

Well said comments for the most part. It's like most things. The answer is in the middle.
