Re: Other GamesJust goes to show you that Tulsa is not a bad team. Especially with that new QB they started yesterday. SMU better be ready for them.

Re: Other GamesThere aren't going to be any "easy" wins the rest of this season. HBU is behind us. AAC should be very competitive and road wins should be rare.
Re: Other Games
He easily could have had 5 Interceptions last night plus a careless fumble. If you watched the game-Tulsa stayed in it by running the football right down UH's throat until that RB got hurt-then they imploded. He was 13-31 but did have 1 TD throw to a wide open WR The RB got hurt-tried to signal that he needed to leave the field but Tulsa didn't substitute and instead called a running play on a crucial 3rd and 1. The RB limped a couple of steps to the line before being tackled well behind the line of scrimmage. I saw that play. He was limping when he got up from the previous play. Tough break for Tulsa. #HammerDown
Re: Other GamesTexas looked well prepared (to lose) on that opening drive

All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Other GamesAfter watching Kyler Murray, only A&M could screw up a QB situation enough to let him go.
He is a talent. stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Re: Other GamesYeah but how about Coach Bro's quandary a few years ago
Patrick Mohommes-NFL superstar Baker Mayfield-Heisman Davis Webb-Cal starter and top national passer/3rd Round Draft pick Michael Brewer-Virginia Tech starter that's great talent evaluation considering none were considered National Gold Chips like about 4 QBs that Texas A&M mishandled. At the time I thought Mohommes was the right choice but wow what a group that's why you can laugh at Coach Bro all you want but he'll always have a job-if he gets fired-he'll probably take a year as Alabama Offensive Coordinator and then somebody is going to give him another shot and pay a ton to get him a defensive coordinator Last edited by Stallion on Sat Oct 06, 2018 12:02 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Other GamesUnless you are Nick...then you can have two championship caliber QBs on the roster.
Thinking back YEARS ago, having Ford and McIlhenny gave a lot of variety and options at QB for SMU...hope we get there again...soon. stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Re: Other GamesTua Tagovailoa is on his way to the Heisman. His QB rating on the year is 235.4 coming in to today-this week its 414.2 with 9/10 passes and 3 TDs for 275 yards in First Half. He's hitting 75% on the year. 17/0 TD/Int Ratio
