There is so much regression from last year on offense that I refuse to believe it is the result of the loss of 1 offensive linemen and 2 receivers. I didn't expect the offense to be prolific, but I expected them to be competent. It is pathetic that I get excited now when they pick up first downs.

The offense chad Morris rolled out in 2015 with 3/4 of the players being FCS talent was more effective than this one, with mostly all of the same players from last years top 15 offense.

is brown actually hurt from the UCF game? I remember he got shaken up before he went out. I don't see why else Hicks would still be in. Dykes wants consistency? The only consistency I see is consistently sucking and not moving the ball.

opening up the offense helps the running game

Exactly.

Kind of like what Ware said - in SOME games, you have to throw your way into a running game.

Against Tulane, I would have spread it out and then run some draws ... old school JJ kind of offense.

Somebody needs to absolutely clock Banks when he is running to get him back for Onu.

not a great series for the Offensive Coordinator-come on-stop with running the ball all day and then a roll out pass?

he play calling has been very unimaginative and basic particularly in the first half. Things have opened up slightly in the second half making things a bit more interesting. Never-the-less, little rhythm or consistency.
