I sure hope everybody who wanted one got one!

SMU really can't do anything right. They give out the vouchers and say they will be available starting in the 4th quarter. Fine - that should keep people at the game.

But, at the beginning of the fourth quarter - OF A CLOSE CONFERENCE GAME - what happens? Everybody leaves to get their bobbleheads and they stop watching the game. WTF?

When we did the Peruna bobbleheads, they gave them away outside the gates, but apparently today that wasn't the case.

So, those of us today who actually watched the game and overtime go to Gate 4 after the game to get our bobblehead. Nothing.

Ask some people and they say they are giving them away "over there".

Head towards gate 6 and then 7 and there is some dude not even in SMU apparel just giving them to people out of a box and not even checking vouchers. WTF?

I saw Cincinnati people with 3 or 4 of them!

Thank goodness I got one of the last ones in his box (he didn't even take my voucher), but I have a bad feeling there are some people who cared enough to get to the game on time to get their voucher who weren't able to get one.

If this is what SMU wants then next time I will just go get mine at the beginning of the 4th quarter and leave.

A great promotion just totally mishandled. It is a cool bobblehead!

Yeah...SMU had good intentions on this one but the people handing them out just didn’t care. Seemed like they were giving away as many as they could so they could go home faster. They definitely weren’t checking on who had vouchers when we got ours.

and what was the deal in the south end zone at the Bahama Buck's shaved ice food truck? I mean that looked like it would take a full quarter of football to make it thru that insane long line. dat stuff must be good! they were giving away bobble-heads in third quarter under north end-zone. Student deck bar was nearly completely empty mid way thru 3rd quarter...students were basically non-existent in a close OT game. This is nuts!

Yes. They had a nice interview with him during the game. Eric talked about his love for SMU. The play by play guy gushed the remainder of the game about getting Eric’s autograph on a game program. He was really excited about that.
