Williams/McMurtray

Post by Nacho »

Keith Williams lead all rushers on Saturday, with the 2nd and 3rd teams. He is listed as 5-7 188. I'm not sure what to make of him. Any thoughts?

Two blocked FGs is good/bad. Good for the D, bad for the O. How has McMurtray been looking in practice?

Keith Williams isn't big, but he's incredibly strong. He's one of very few players on the team to squat well over 600 pounds. So he has great driving power in his legs.

Well yea, but at 5'7" he only has to move that 600 lbs. a few inches in the squat.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Flame at will.

Perhaps Williams would like to provide the flame...
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Of course, those of us who are taller than 5'7" have no problem moving that kind of weight, right?

I don't care if he's 3 feet tall - 600 pounds is incredible.
