This is a master plan from the mad scientist. We dog the entire season until the AAC Tourney. Jarrey is then magically healed. Pyle scores 8 treys a game. AAC Tourney Champs. Win Two Tourney Games. Sweet Sixteen. We are the darlings of college bball for the story and comeback kid mentality. Sit back and watch.

That's undoubtedly the master plan...Jank wants to take a sub .500 team to the dance after winning the AAC conference from the 11 or 12 seed.

Dear Santa:
We have been really good this year. No hookers and blow. No FBI. NO fake classes. No sexual assaults. No dormitory robberies. No bag drops. Not even so much as an illegal text message.
Could you bring us a new coach for Christmas.
Otherwise we are going to be very, very bad.
Yours truly,
SMU

Just in case I get depressed sitting in my new expensive seats, and fall off the wagon, where do I find the hookers and blow?

Excellent Ask Rick Pitino - he'll know.

In the old Medallion shopping center off Northwest Hwy and Skillman.

Not sure why everyone is dogging on Coach Jank. We are lucky to have Jank. I am not going to take the time to go over every stat in detail over his coaching career at SMU like other posters. Jank brought SMU Nic Moore. Jank won something like 29 wins a few years ago with (if I remember correctly, with a 6-man roster). Jank was undefeated at home for a long time. That is incredible coaching in my book. With the sanctions, limited scholarships, and everything else... the fact that Jank has won at SMU is amazing. Lots of other schools would be happy to have a coach like Jank.
No doubt that our current roster leaves much to be desired. We have no Point Guard. Our guys look lost. Our guys are playing "Hero" Ball, not team basketball. No leadership this season. The players need to be accountable. Everyone agrees that we as fans and alumns deserve much more from our Basketball Program. This is not all on the coach. Jank is an easy target. Take a step back and see what is really going on with the team. Players are not performing. Lack of scholarships has caught up to our program. Weak schedule does not help.
Guys like McMurray are way too inconsistent this year. Way too much one-on-one with not enough motion in the offense for me. Our teams over the past handful of years played together both on offense and defense. Our team this year is still trying to find itself and yes it is ugly. Hoping that our Freshman get more playing time. Hoping that Jarray will inject some much needed leadership and talent on the floor.
I am confident that Jank will get our team back on track. Trust Jank.
