Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownTheir IPF got done first too. Well...at least ours will have walls, I think.

Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdown
Good point.
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownDid they start over from scratch with 0 players?
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownI'm sure they had some players but almost anyone good transferred when they heard of the shutdown. I think they had 50+ players transfer when the decision was announced.
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownThere was an article espn posted detailing where every UAB transfer went. A surprisingly high number of them transferred to P5 schools and were starters. Off hand, I recall a LB that went to Georgia and a RB that went to INdiana
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownI thought it was supposed to take 40 years to do something like this?

Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownWell we decided it would be as easy as Pye.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownunfortunately that pye ended up being half-baked.
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdownUAB was able to take prop kids no other school could take and then use their off two years to get them qualified.
Re: UAB - conference champs 2 years after shutdown[quote="redpony"]unfortunately that pye ended up being half-baked.[/quote but we continued to fail after it was "turnered" on the grill for another 30 years.
Our Adminstrator had 30 years to reverse Pye's start, but he kept it on track and no one objected. At least at Ole Miss they booed him off the field during homecoming. We just let him renew his own contract six times.
