Foster dunk gives the Mustangs 5-3 lead ... but more encouraging than the points was the sudden explosiveness he showed. McMurray lost the ball, got it back, flipped it over to Chargois, who knocked it forward to Foster ... who grabbed it and shot straight up for an emphatic dunk. Getting all the way back to what he was will take more time, but there was no running start, no timidness.

One common opponent for SMU and TCU: each team lost at home to Lipscomb ΓÇö SMU by 6 points, TCU by 9. Call it a wash.

Jarrey Foster not wearing brace ΓÇö has some kind of a sleeve over his left leg. Looks like it has some measure of reinforcement in it, but certainly is lighter (no metal) than the brace he wore in his first three games this season.
