Likely would have been packed if the Ponies were playing!

Maybe ESPN will move it again. "Frisco Bowl" is not somewhere any team, at the beginning of the season, has dreams about playing in. In 5 years it will be the answer to a trivia question no one will get right.

I do not expect ESPN will move it any time soon. It is in a great location and the right size stadium for this level of bowl. This year ESPN were well aware that sending Ohio and SDSU was going to mean no-one showed up, but the schools had a good time and it gives ESPN a centrally located easy to get to bowl game in an area with lots of possible teams.

Official attendance in Frisco was 11,029. A Wikipedia item for the game said it was 3,000.

The ESPN cameras took care only to show the field from a very low angle--no open seats as far as they were concerned, although by the end of the game they panned up to midfield and it was completely empty.

Not too many from CA or OH interested in a pre-Christmas trip to Dallas

AAC not showing very well as usual. Memphis blew a 28-10 lead and lost 37-34 to Wake. Houston down 7-0 early against Army

They should have worn black to honor Army.
