Re: Oh poor Chad Morris
Recruiting classes aren't finished yet-SMU has what 14-15 signees right now? There could be substantial change in where teams finish. For example UH could still have the best class in the AAC if Holgerson is successful. They already have a better class than SMU for average per recruit. SMU could finish anywhere from 1st to 6th. Right now they are 3rd but 5th in average per recruit. Don't know why so many are drawing conclusions on recruiting classes when the cake ain't baked yet.

We set our expectations high so disappointments are more crushing.
#1 class in the AAC!

Sounds like Hicks to Arkansas could be happening soon. Honestly a little surprised since there may be more QB transfer options available in the spring but guess Morris wants to go ahead and lock it down.

I do not think he will ever see much playing time.

Sign a guy with a bad attitude who wonΓÇÖt get much pt. He should fit in well there.
CM could be making $2mil+ coaching Trevor Lawrence at Clemson with multiple undefeated seasons and national titles. I wonder if the head coaching throne has been worth the 1000x increase in stress rolling Arkansas through their worst season ever. That's really a monumental achievement considering Arkansas has been playing football since 1894.

I donΓÇÖt know why you would waste a scholarship on him if you didnΓÇÖt intend to play him, but I could see a freshman taking over for Hicks later in the year if itΓÇÖs another bad season like this one was.

I think Chad may want a backup that knows his system in case Nolan is injured and the incoming freshman is not ready. All kind of hinges on whomever else he may be able to get to transfer in.

Make the trade, Mark...
I wish Hicks well.
There are other QBs out there, and folks that are talented and non-toxic when things don't go their way.
Next up.
