Rumors circulating that it might be announced soon?

Would leave the bears in a bit of a pinch. Who do you think they would go after... Litrel, or somebody already on staff?

He's not going. Has officially told his assistant coaches that he's staying. He says that he loves Baylor too much. Plus the Jets didn't offer him the job, which may have had something to do with his decision.

Maybe he was flirting with NFL to get an extension? He sure wouldn't be the first to do it.

I agree on your comment about Waco. He's playing the part now, but it's impossible to honestly like that place.

Scuttlebutt is he wouldn't agree to letting the Jets GM pick members of his coaching staff. I'd stand firm on picking my own assistants too if I were him.

Didn't leave this time, but his continued sniffing around at NFL jobs makes it feel like HCCM here 3 years ago.
