And yet their fans are incredibly loyal and support that team...they won't be down long!

It is really difficult to win on the road in conference.

Only the best teams will win consistently on the road and we don't any longer qualify.

Exactly. WSU has had a very difficult schedule in conference so far. They are going to go 8-3 the rest of the way (including last night) and will finish 9-9 in conference. SMU, on the other hand, I think finishes at best 8-10. Not where we want to be.

Watching Temple at Houston now. 59-53 Houston with 6 minutes left.
I can tell you right now that SMU cannot compete with the better teams in the AAC. The size, the speed, the talent and the depth are remarkably better.
Jank’s reliance on the three ball to beat teams like these is a total fail. There will be a night or two when it happens but the whole strategy is so beneath the majors.... it just reeks of small time college ball. The ability of teams to hit threes is important but there is just so much more that we lack in the tool kit.
Fire the guy.

I agree with what you have said but wait and watch us have a hot night from 3 and beat Houston, or Cincy and they will extend Jank.

No they won't, because even with that one upset we will finish at best .500 in conference. Game over.

Good win for UCF. Need them to continue winning and stay consistent, unlike Memphis, to have as many AAC teams in the tournament as possible.

8-10? Where do you see 4 more wins coming from? Other than maybe Wichita or UConn at home, I'm having a hard time finding one or two!

I think the conference in general is struggling to win on the road. So we will get a couple of wins at home. But admittedly it seems like a stretch right now.
