Despite the loss, I think the Ponies improved against Rice. Janielle Dodds and Sarah Davis have dominated people all year, but Kendall Shead had a great game against Rice. She drove to the rim better than she has all year. If the Ponies get a three-pronged attack going, they could do some damage in the WNIT.
