AAC will not be recognized as a legit conference until we start advancing teams to the sweet 16 on a regular basis. Still waiting for that to get started, but it would sure help to have 3-5 bids every year.

Yup. Hopefully that begins this year. Last year it might have happened but ended up in disaster.
Going forward we'll have the players and coaches to do it. It should be a very deep conference . Unfortunately none of that has anything to do with SMU right now.

I think Houston will def make it to the second weekend and very possibly the elite 8. Not sure about any of the others. Cincy is playing terribly right now and UCF will likely have a 1 seed in the second round

Wright State advances to the Horizon finals. Several of our non-conference opponents will be playing in the NCAA and/or NIT.

Great, more ammunition for Jank excuses.

Exactly what I'm thinking. We are bound to hear how deceptively tough that schedule was. Be prepared for more cupcakes next year. Wright State lost to N. Kentucky in the Horizon championship game so it will be interesting to see if they make the NIT. Best win was against a pretty good Toledo team but since we beat them, they probably won't make it.

Way to go, Norse! Nice to see my second favorite team up here in northern KY make it to the dance.

As co-champs in regular season in the Horizon and Atlantic Sun Conferences, I'm assuming both Wright State and Lipscomb will be NIT bound and that TCU and Georgetown will either be joining Bradley in the NCAA or at least be invited to the NIT. Hey, even Lamar's post season hopes are still alive and that team has won 8 consecutive games now.

Re: Other scores of interest
Lamar loses so their post season shot is gone...guess that weakens our SOS!
Meanwhile, Lunardi is projecting TCU and Texas among the last 4 in and Belmont in his last 4 out. I still hate that teams from P5 conferences with losing records in conference play get in ahead of programs like Belmont, Lipscomb, UNCG/Furman, etc...who play well in non-conference, dominate their conferences but their only hope of dancing is to win the auto-bid from their conference

The Big 12 is overrated. The worst team in the conference - WV beat the best team - Tech. That's a sign of weakness.

We know who our coach is rooting for in the Big 12-2 championship game!
