I think Jank not only returns next season, I think he is back at least two more seasons.

Hope not. This hurts bc it's fun to win a game and play Cincy close but absolutely no quality is coming in.
Usually, the team that scores the most points wins the game - John Madden

And what a screen!
Frenchy has regressed since conference play last season. Huge disappointment. Tonight he had 2 rebounds in 36 minutes of play. Totally unacceptable and I wonder if he would even play for a LB coached team....Ha, and he and Hunt are the future.
McBlunt and Whitt were 42 of the 74 points. TheyΓÇÖre going to be sorely missed off a team that $uks now, but will take $uckage to a new level next year.

Lol Jank was asked about his job status in the post game presser and got testy with the journalist that asked.

So you're saying we should be careful NOT to schedule Abilene Christian next year? Better to stick with the bottom on the Southland standings

Interesting post game. At the 21-22 minute mark, Jank talks about McMurray coming into a situation where there were "firings". Was that a reference to Coach Brown and in Jank's mind was Larry "fired"?
He clearly was miffed at that last question about his job status, but I do think it was pretty tacky for the reporter to ask in that moment.

Jank has to know that a question about his future may arise. His inability to answer that question with composure suggests the opposite of what he said. He clearly has been under fire by administration. His answer should simply be, ΓÇ£I know IΓÇÖve underperformed on paper these last 2 seasons. The expectations at SMU are high. IΓÇÖll sit down with the powers that be in the next few weeks and evaluate all those things.ΓÇ¥

A couple of great games today!
Won't be too surprising to see a Memphis-Wichita State final the way those teams are playing.

Re: AAC Tourney
I found the reply ok based on him just going through a tough loss. I refer to Nolan Richardson when asked the same question and in comparison JankΓÇÖs was almost polite. I would guess unless he is fired soon that he will apologize for his heat of the moment reply and move on.
