JANK to UCLA
Heck they’ve called everyone else.
It’s down to Jank or Tubby Smith.
C’mon UCLA: pay us back for that NCAA gift. You can get him for half price. We’ll even void the buyout.

Nah, we’re the only P7 b-ball program dumb enough to employ a head coach who literally doesn’t care about recruiting and would rather make [deleted] excuses in the postgame press conferences after all of the losses

UCLA just announced Cronin's hiring. Who does Cincinnati look to next?
Re: JANK to UCLA
my favorite coach in the AAC goes to UCLA. I would give anything to have a coach with that much fire at SMU.
He got 6 yrs/$24M. Is that even enough to afford a shanty in LA?

Really hate to see him leave the AAC. good coach who DOES recruit and build a winning program. Wish he had somebody like that. Oh well, maybe someday we'll get lucky.

Damn. I’ll really miss Mick. I hope Cincy gets a good replacement.

Bunch of folks up here think that they will make a play for the coach at Northern Kentucky U. He is really good.

Re: JANK to UCLA
Brannen might be a good choice and is probably very affordable. He's certainly done a great job in a very short time at NKU and I think he is a local boy so that might help, too. I remember him as a member of the College of Charleston's staff before he moved on to Alabama. Might be a quick and easy hire for Cincy.Terry Webster wrote:Bunch of folks up here think that they will make a play for the coach at Northern Kentucky U. He is really good.

I am sure there are some who want them to give Nick Van Exel a chance to try to replicate some of Memphis' momentum with Penny.
