That's the problem for the AAC. The other P5 conferences look down on it and it looks down on the other 25+ conferences. Could argue the Big East is comparable, except they already have a deal with a P5 conference.

Even Sagarin scored the AAC better than the PAC. And that's counting our two bottom teams in the 200s.

Isn't that kind of the problem? That's obvious to those who watch college basketball closely, but getting dominated in a conference challenge would make it a lot clearer to the more casual viewer.
