Spring game moved to Friday

The SMU football Spring Game has been moved to Friday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. on the Pettus Practice Fields.

From the description in the Morning News, this is not a game, but just a practice that is open to the public.

I would assume there will be no food, beverages, beer, merchandise, bounce houses, posters, programs etc.

Would be nice if the SID would release exactly what to expect.

Well, if there is Metroplex TV news coverage it won't show empty seats at Ford.

Surely the athletic department can run off copies of the spring practice roster currently seen on the smumustangs website and hand them out to the faithful even if there are no concessions.

That website is still calling it a "game" by the way.

OTOH, any long suffering ponyfan might carry a copy of the roster made at home although you might wonder about walk-ons.
