Not sure what part it might play, but the ASU Coach, Blake Anderson’s wife is still very ill with cancer. I am pretty sure it is terminal. Last I heard it had spread to her brain. I feel very bad for the lady and the family and there is no way to tell how this might affect the coaches and the team. It could be extra incentive and inspiration or it could be major distraction. Time will tell. It is a very sad situation.

That Arkansas Mustang Club must be a gung-ho group. That's good! SMU can't even get 1,000 to drive over to Ft. Worth.

Arkansas State just got a transfer QB from Alabama. Layne Hatcher, the all-time leading passer in Arkansas from Pulaski Academy (the school that never punts and always onside kicks) has left Alabama and is heading to ASU.
The way it reads is that since he redshirted last year and “never took an official visit before signing” he is immediately eligible.
ASU lost their prolific passer from last year so this was a big need for them and will make our game a little more difficult in my opinion.

FC Dallas has a game that night so no go for me. Pity because that’s the kind of road game I love. If it’s 11am I might consider it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Early projections give Arkansas State a 63% chance at winning. That was before they got the qb transfer.
