Re: AAC-SEC schedulingHopefully we are 1 of the 4 teams selected from the aac to be part of this. Before last year I would have said we would have been for sure. Now i’m Not so sure. Cinci and Memphis are highly likely. Seems like the last two spots will be between us WSU, Houston, UCF, temple and maybe UCONn
Re: AAC-SEC schedulingDon't see SMU being involved next season unless the SEC wants to avoid the AAC's top teams
Re: AAC-SEC schedulingMy guess would be Houston, UCF, Cincinnati, and Wichita State. USF, Memphis, Temple, and UConn would probably be in before us, too, though the latter 2-3 might be riding on name recognition rather than a quality product. If Florida was one of the SEC teams (probably wouldn't be), I could see them trying to veto UCF/USF.
Regardless, I think it's a long shot to see SMU as part of this, though I'd love to be mistaken.
Re: AAC-SEC schedulingDallas would be the only draw.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: AAC-SEC scheduling
And even then, I bet to get a team like A&M or Arkansas on board we'd have to concede our home game to the AAC.
Re: AAC-SEC scheduling
Only way a game is played in Dallas is if the SEC team wants it there as a recruiting trip and it would not be at Moody
Re: AAC-SEC schedulingLooking forward to SMU-Kentucky at Moody!
An object at rest cannot be stopped!
