Re: Charles Smith IV committed
While PF Charles Smith played at Pitt, there was a guard by the same name at Georgetown. Both very good players, and made for some very confusing broadcasts for Big East announcers.

The Charles Smith I remember was a Forward that played college basketball at Pittsburgh and then went on to play for Clippers, Knicks notably on the 1993-94 NBA Finals squad, and then the San Antonio Spurs. Career 14.4 PPG and 5.8 RPG
That Charles Smith was #3 pick in draft. The one that went to Georgetown played for the Celtics briefly after being a consensus All-American in 89.
With all of these Charles Smith's being so successful, we can only hope that CS4 is in the same mold!
(of course - minus the nasty incidents of the Hoya Charles Smith that arose after he got $$$).

Reeling in the guards so have to believe a couple (beyond Whitt & McMurray) on last year's roster will be leaving.
Douglas and White are now totally buried on the depth chart. They’d be better off giving back those scholarships and playing intramural.

Probably both very capable of earning more playing time elsewhere
