Tough Times in Arkansas
Love watching the Grapes of Wrath people complain on Twitter about Joe Craddock and Ben "Pick" Hicks. We're so glad those guys are gone.

Re: Tough Times in Arkansas
funny, Morris bolts for the big time, and ends up with SMU hand me downs, and SMU ends up with a great QB in Buechelle...
and a better head coach too IMO. Things looking up on the Hilltop

Yeah. Ole Miss were 5 points favorites but havenΓÇÖt even been challenged.
The only reason I want Arkansas to win some games is so we can get them in a bowl and beat their asses.

Re: Tough Times in Arkansas
Hicks rode that one year just because he had Sutton and Quinn to throw to, two NFL receivers, when he has no studs that can get wide open, he is a lost little puppy, probably even lost his starting job, and Morris will be gone soon too.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!
Re: Tough Times in Arkansas
The #FireChadMorris hashtag is there now! It wonΓÇÖt be long, itΓÇÖs the SEC way.

Re: Tough Times in Arkansas
If Pic 6 Hicks has future NFL type of receivers and all day to throw, then he is adequate

If Arky is smart theyΓÇÖll give some time. TheyΓÇÖve got a roster issue that is bigger than a coach right now. Chad is at worst a decent recruiter who can help dig the roster out of that hole a little.

You dont understand. Decent recruiter will cut it in the big 12. Decent recruiter will get you fired in the SEC.

So true. You know them Razorbacks would love a do over, They would take Dykes and Buechelle in one hot minute over Morris and Pick Six Hicks at this point.
Love it.

Being at the mid major talent level opens up a window for some coaches. See SD at la tech

He still has to coach them and he sucks at that.

Re: Tough Times in Arkansas
I suspect Chad will have to make some staffing changes to keep his job after this season and if he doesn't field a competitive team by year 3, he may well finish his career as an OC somewhere, unless of course he decides to return to the H.S. ranks somewhere in E. Texas which could be a viable and more stable retirement plan. He's already made the big bucks and the Peter Principle might be catching up to him.

Yes the Peter Principle has arrived at Chad's door.
