They are much more conservative defensively than either of those teams. And they will do what they can to slow the game down. Their offense has struggled.

Don't get me wrong -w e have a higher percentage chance of winning this game than the other two. But with our redzone efficiency not being great yet and our running game inconsistent early, I would expect them to drop back in coverage, defend against the long pass, challenge us to run, and try to hold us to field goal attempts.

If we win the line of scrimmage early and force them to respect the run, then sure, they are going to be in trouble because their offense can't keep up with ours. But I don't think that will be the case right away.

As a side note, I would keep my eye on us getting Bentley in space on passes out to the flat after we send Granson, Proche, and Roberson deep. That was a JJ favorite with McNeal, and against a team depending the deep pass it could be a big play in this game.

Ok, so yes I'd pick apart a team like this with little dump passes, relying on our athleticism to get down the field. And there's always a chance of Buechele tucking it and taking off for 25 yards.

I would agree we might be comparable to Wyoming right about now. They had a good 6 point home win against Missou in Kelly Bryant's debut as Missou's QB and won by 9 at Texas State. We get Texas State at Ford, so I think the margin will be more than 9 points. I will go with Our 'Stangs 34-13
