TCU would hate to interrupt a long running series with a bitter taste in their mouths...or wouldn't they? Big XII has that "we only have 3 non-conference games" excuse but I agree with Patterson that it's a good rivalry and a "local" road game so it makes sense.

Great nail biting road win. I noticed the first game of the season that our guys are bigger, faster, and exude a winner's confidence that I haven't seen in a long time. This win was no fluke. Gransom is a hoss. Let's find consistent kicking and we will be a force come bowl season.

Too bad Coach Dixon does not agree with that regarding basketball.

There were so many blown calls against SMU... it should not have been close.

There may have been some questionable calls but this game was very evenly matched. I think TCU outgained us by 4 yards although much of that came against our prevent D which I still think was a mistake and gave their FR QB too much time and confidence

Actually, our fourth-quarter field goal was the margin of victory.

Two hours after....I still can't wipe the grin off my face.

It's GOOD to win our Super Bowl. Oh, and BTW, this doesn't feel like 2011. This feels like it could happen with regularity.

I remember feeling pretty good about things in 2011 but Sonny vs JJ is no contest

Love the fact our game will run on the ticker as a Top 25 game all night and into tomorrow! Recruits will start to notice and hopefully more DFW studs will decide to transfer back home.

Conspiracy theory: Paterson betted on us and didnt go for the FG. He helped us. He wanted the series renewed. He made a huge profit when he knew it was going to be a down year (no QB).
