Has there ever been a worse missed call than the 30 yard helmet toss? Can't believe that no ref saw that.

Big XII refs. They always have their teams back in non conference games.

The helmet being ripped off our player and chucked 15 yards with no penalty is inexcusable. You know Sam Blum doesnt think it's a rivalry. So the guy thought it was a football.

I hope Stallion is giddy-ing...somewhere...

Playing through adversity, whether the opposing 11 or the other 8 means you are growing up. Good to see.
Just a thought...TCU just cracked the Top 25 this week...

We received 1, count 'em ONE vote...

Any bets we crack the Top 25 this week?
That 1 vote was in the coache's poll and may have been from Gary Patterson as part of some gamesmanship (if coach Dykes is right)

We had no votes in the AP poll. We will get some now, but not make the Top 25. If we can get to 5-0 next week... Maybe.

We’ll be 7-0 before we ever get ranked. ESPN is still bringing up the death penalty in their write up.

I knew we were going to win when the toadies came out wearing yoga pants. Didn't think it possible to pair anything with purple to make it uglier. The blown face mask/helmet toss call was at least a 7 point swing. Loved how we manned up after the bad snap/fumble at the end. Did not lose focus. Hope tcu wins the rest of their games this year. I'll be at the usf game. Let's go 'stangs!

Typical win? When are you going to start acting like the fan of a winning team?

Will not hear from Stallion unless Mustangs lose, or Hogs win.

Hey everyone... we have certain posters on this board who tried to run a lot of us off after June and when anyone was critical of full tilt boogie while he was here. A lot of the folks who were run off after June never made it back.

At least one of those pro-Morris folks made it back this week finally for the first time in months. Lets try to get the bandwagon on this thing as large as possible and show them what good looks like instead of just poking with sticks so that they never come back again. We need all the fans we can get.

I will admit to having been both a pro JJ and Chad guy and continue to believe those were good hires for SMU. Yes, both of them quit before the job of REALLY turning this program around was done, but they at least got us moving in the right direction. What they had in common is they both got discouraged by the lack of fan support for this program and maybe they had unrealistic expectations for how quickly they could create interest in the program. I'm just thankful that Sonny appears to "get it" and knows it's a long, slow process to get even SMU alumni interested, much less the casual Dallas area sports fan.

I'm just hopeful that win or lose in Tampa next week that more than the usual 14k show up to watch our next home game against Tulsa. This team certainly deserves more support than they have been getting and yes, I know I'm preaching to the choir on this board. How many of you have already heard from some of your bandwagon friends and/or classmates? I know I have so I'm encouraged.

Chad lost me with the Baylor flirtation. In season promoting and interviewing is just not right.

That said I am one of the few remaining, everywhere but especially in Arkansas that thinks he will get Arkansas back on track and winning again. He will need a couple of more years and losing to the SJSUs will not get him that much time so he better start winning the non conference games now.
