Is Stallion still alive?
Not joking, I was kinda wondering if he had a medical episode or something.

After being head football coach at two universities and paid millions of dollars Chad Morris has yet to win his first game against a Power 5 Team. I guess he'll get another chance this weekend.

Well I seriously doubt he will break the streak this weekend and most likely not this year. My apologies for posting again.

Then he makes his big announcement about hiring the great John Chavis, who's defenses had been going downhill for years. Not all that difficult to have good defenses at LSU with Top 5 recruiting classes, monster DLinemen, NFL cornerbacks, and crazy athletes on all 3 levels. The game has passed Chavis by, but Morris hired him anyways, paid him too much money, and still has a horrendous defense. He really is in over his head as a head coach.

Meanwhile, Sonny makes a great young DC hire.

It's not surprising. Chad thinks there is one phase of the game, not three. Until that changes it will be more of the same.

Sure, he had a top 20 national offense here, but he also had a bottom 20 defense at the same time. Just ridiculous how people still fall for his full tilt boogie crap.

If he doesn't get it done as HC in Arkansas (I'm on record as one who thinks he can if given 5 years to build HIS roster), then I think Chad will still be a very good offensive coordinator and he will be in high demand for that level job. My guess is that he will probably still have a million dollar plus salary and be coaching at a P5 level so I have a hard time thinking this is all going to end badly for him.

Dead serious here - Will Highland Park be needing a new Head Coach soon?

Randy Allen turns 70 this year.

Does HP Head Football coach pay better than some O Coordinator positions in top 5 conferences? (I have no idea)

define "get it done"

Charleston in my mind "get it done" at a school like Arkansas would be to basically every year appear at least part of the season in the Top 20, and appear even Top 10 occasionally, and regularly be one of the top 3 teams in the SEC West. Maybe about like TCU has done in the Big 12? Minimum of 9 wins almost every year. 500 ball or barely above 500 ball isn't going to cut it as "getting it done" is it?

I think Clemson was paying Chad well over a million a year to be OC and that was like 7 years ago.

I am no fan of Chad, but he may be a decent coordinator/recruiter at the college level, just not a head coach.

All joking aside, no he didn't:

"The 2 years prior to Morris' arrival, Clemson went a combined 15–12, including a record of 6–7 in 2010. Morris introduced a hurry-up, spread offense that helped Clemson to a 42–11 mark over the next four seasons.[3] In December 2011, Morris became tied with Gus Malzahn as the highest paid assistant in college football after Clemson University gave Morris a six-year contract worth $1.3 million annually."

He may very well have saved Dabo's job.
