It's interesting, we use to be on the bandwagon that we had to have the multi-uniform combos to attract and retain top talent - that's what the kids wanted. Truth be told, it appears that loyalty (Dallas) and opportunity were much more important. I have the feeling the kids we have would play in shabby all white uniforms as long as they have a chance to play, and play for something - hometown pride. Kudos to the staff for coming up with the uniforms that build on Dallas pride and have meaning behind each detail in the uniform - not some all black or bright glitzy uniform that does nothing but appeals to the senses until the next bright glitzy thing takes their attention.

Then I would imagine they would be turned off by wearing SMU, TCU, UT, TT or anything else within/out of state. They would only be looking at Houston and Rice.
