Morris was nuts to think fans would show up during his time. Thanks to JJ (horse beaten to death), fan support was absolutely crushed. Morris left and we all went to that well attended Frisco bowl game and we were humiliated (not SDs fault). Last year, we didnt take care of business so our fans have been constantly disappointed some longer than most. It should come to no surprise if our attendance tomorrow is still somewhat poor. I hope coaches, players and analysts understand that it takes years of success to generate bandwagon fans. We also cant go to the student body to do enough because even at 100%, you are talking about 5k. That's not going to move the needle enough.

Ha! My disagreeing to your disagree for disagreeing is that the Basketball influx was much easier to achieve when capacity is like what 7/8k vs 33k. The student body alone could almost fill Moody but barely a dent in Ford.

We'll prob get an extra 1-2k with the recent buzz. If we manage to stay ranked all year, then next year will be better by 3-4k. String together 2-3 high-profile seasons and that's when you'll start to see a big uptick in season ticket holders and perhaps more full stadium games per year.
