Any news on ticket sales?

Called and had to pick up two more yesterday. 6 total for my group. Office said they’ve been getting a ton of calls. Let’s hope that shows on Saturday night. Mustangs instagram also put out a video about how they’ve had to bring in more people. I’m thinking it’s more hype than truth, but we’ll see. Fill Ford.

OU, Oklahoma State, TCU (all three away) and Texas Tech (home) all play at 11am. Texas and Baylor both play at 2:30 ( both on the road). Texas A&M and Arkansas are off. The only "big "games playing at the same time will be Michigan State at Ohio State at 6:30 and Cal at Oregon at 7 but both of those games are expected to be fairly easy wins for tOSU (favored by 20) and Oregon (favored by 18). All of this should help with the walk up crowd that might not normally be willing to head over to Ford.

The only thing that could kill this is rain. Even when TCU comes to town, stadium is bare on rain games. It only shows 10% so I'm really hoping we give nobody any excuses other than: "I dont like SMU".

Well I purchased 2 to the TX State game and 5 to this game, so we're making progress! Two of the five are Sonny's target demo. College football fans with no association to SMU (LSU fans actually), but want to see what's up with our program.

See, and that's where we could make a small killing - CFB fans who are willing to pay $15 a ticket to go see a decent game. Dallas is quite possibly loaded with them, and Sonny's absolutely right to go after them, it could make a big difference in the long run.

Just bought our tickets at the stadium ticket office. Many sections sold out. Guy in front of me was giving employee a hard time, literally saying “I find it hard to believe all of these sections are sold out. Hopefully a good sign for attendance!!

That is good news for the team. Bad for me I bought tix on Stubhub Saturday and still haven’t gotten. Been talking talking to customer service every day since Wednesday.

Im trying to buy 1 but it errors out for ne on TM. Tried SMU/sidearm and it doesnt tell me how i will receive tic (need mobile) and mentions i can get it in my smu account....dont have one. Not real friendly to casual fan we want to come to game.

They’ll send you two emails. One confirmation and one with the link to the tickets. You’ll log in, “change” your password for the new account (but I already had an account), and then you can access your tickets.

Ticketmaster is stupid and evil, but I am starting to get fired up for the game.

Well stubhub ended up refunding me then I turned around and bought tix on ticketmaster. Got better seats for less money
