Its funny to look back at my post I believe in the 3rd quarter just frustrated in the stands and then looking at all the posts after it. Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions. When Xavier fumbled in 2OT though, I was like FML. Funny moment: remember before the end of the 4th and it seem tulsa fumbled and the refs said confirmed? How funny to go from rocking the stadium to what? Lol. Awesome win but Mustangs please please stop trying to kill us.

Full Disclosure, I was primarily ball watching.

But.

Can someone, who had a better view and a better understanding of the game, explain to me why we weren’t throwing the ball more over the middle of the field? The few times we threw a quick slant, we got good yardage. I realize they were playing a nickel for a lot of the game and occasionally dropping back a linebacker into coverage, but it didn’t look like they were entirely taking it away. Just seemed weird to me that we were so reliant on throwing that slot quick hitch or the sideline fade even when they weren’t really working.

...Oh and glad to be here. Really enjoy reading all of y’alls posts. Glad this thing exists.

Oh, and we did this with some questionalble calls, no calls, by the officials. Just shows the character of the team to to overcome adversity.

Was in attendance. Remembered how Amarillo Tascosa almost came back from 21 points down
at the half to SCARE my Longview Lobos by onside kicks, and hook, and ladder plays in the state
6A Div 2 semi finals last year with me in attendance at AT&T.

That was giving me hope that we would come back

Couple of huge stats in this one: SMU 6-7 on 4th down while Tulsa never tried to convert on 4th. Also, SMU had 5 1st downs courtesy of Tulsa penalties

I think the biggest play of the game (after the Proche final TD catch) was the uncontested spot on the 4th down run by McDaniel late in the game. I really think he was short of the line to gain, but also believe it offset other bad calls by the officials.

SD was on the refs all night. I’m sure that combined with previous errors in TUs favor helped with the spot because he looked well short!

Still can’t believe they missed the delay of game on TU. That is inexcusable, especially in that part of the game.

Official Crew will learn some things as they watch this film. They BLEW many calls.

Question...Explain reviewing a Delay of game that was not called? It was on the jumbotron.
It's OK to yell at refs - try not to just curse and not make a point.

And we contiune to be a takeaway monster. how huge were the three interceptions. And one for a TD, another one in the end zone. That's a big points swing our way. And the only thing that kept us in the game the first half.

The ref bus was booed out of the parking lot. It was a thing of beauty. Their grading by the conference on Monday will be wretchedly bad (and they deserve the low marks).
