We beat Tulsa handily. We just did not beat the officials handily. Officials gave Tulsa 14 points.
Just send 'da money.

Cmon dont be like Horn fans. I still hear my in laws whining about the refs. The fact is we had no offensive production until the 4th quarter. We truly as a team only played one quarter and OT. Temple will take advantage of it. We have a far higher ceiling than they do because all one has to do is look at the USF game to see it.

While Temple's win was impressive over Memphis they still allowed Memphis to roll up 500+ yards, Memphis just turned the ball over. We take care of the ball and come out and play like we did early against TCU and USF and we will win 37-24. While Temple is big and physical I honestly still believe we have better overall team speed and getting our play makers the ball in space will be the difference. I only have them scoring as much as 24 because our D will still be a little banged up and if they sustain a drive or two we will get a bit tired and give up a big play here and there like we did against Tulsa.
Hoping we get great (for us) turnout and home crowd helps early to keep Temple out of the game.

I think we win a close one, something like 34-31, and attendance is terrible.

Why would Tulsa attendance be nice and Temple terrible? We are higher ranked and getting pub

I don't complain about missed calls, calls that have no major effect on the game or bad spots. But it is unforgivable for the officials to not know the rules and to not do their job. The touchdown GIVEN to Tulsa when they recovered the ball in the end was unforgivable, because the officials simply did not know the rules of the game. Then letting the clock expire and not calling the delay of game. The back judge has only one job before the ball is snapped. What was he doing? Those 2 calls GAVE Tulsa 14 points. Not to mention our final touchdown they tried to take away. I am so glad we have instant replays that can overturn field rulings. I agree we were flat on offense during the first 3 quarters and for some reason Bue just seemed to be a little off. If Bue is on his game against Temple, I just don't think the game will be close, unless the officials again spot them 14 points.

I think the week off will really help us. SMU 41, Temple 27.

Given the week off for our guys, Temple coming off a big win at home and their not being the same team on the road...as well as the memory of the scare Tulsa gave us last time out all adds up to SMU coming out strong but still struggling as the pressure of remaining unbeaten continues to mount. SMU hangs on to win 27-23.

We've never been in this position before. The hunted. Not getting the warm and fuzzies on this. But if we have a strong crowd and as long as the team comes out with their minds right, you never know. This team has indeed shown something different than in previous years. But my BPS says we lose by a touchdown or so.

2:30 pm kick with sun in your face is the correct answer. If SMU would market bikini/speedo day with tanning areas on East side, free Coppertone and beach towels, you may get a few more butts in seats.
