Agreed the “heat” will be the key issue. Attendance will look terrible on TV as 80% of the crowd will be on the west side and south end zone.

I also expect far fewer butts in seats than vs Temple. There may be more buzz but we are still just a novelty to most in Dallas. T-shirt fans aren’t coming to see us play a team like Temple, and of course our alumni base doesn’t care either.

Ponies 27, Owls 14. Look closely at Temple’s schedule. Yes, the Memphis win was impressive. But their big Maryland win in week 2 has aged badly, given that the Twerps are bad and their win over ranked Syracuse turns out to be because Syracuse is terrible. Bucknell is a bad FCS team. Georgia Tech is a terrible P5 team. Buffalo is a bad G5 team. ECU is a bad team, and they were in a one-possession game at Temple going into the 4Q.

Memphis fans said the same thing. I'll say the same thing I said: We can unfortunately only play the teams on our schedule.

I wouldn't be surprised to finally see a low scoring 24-20 grind it out type of game, but every time I doubt our Mustangs a little bit, or give the other team some credit for being talented, I have been very pleasantly surprised. Having said that, give me the Mustangs 34-24. Keep up the good work, boys!
