Didn't he sign a 2 for 1 with Vandy, with Vandy getting 2 home games before we get ours?

I think its away home away. Also it's not like for another 4 or 5 years. We get to play stellar opponents of LA Tech, NTCC and TX St. Yay. Might as well stick to single game tickets lol.

"The Commodores will host the first meeting with SMU on Sept. 14, 2024. The teams will play again in Nashville on Sept. 9, 2028, then meet on the SMU campus in Dallas for the finale in Sept. 15, 2029."

A home and away against Vandy - fine and good. Giving 2 away for 1 home is just plain dumb. You lose the second away game you gave for free, and it hurts a lot worse than having won against a Tx State. You need wins. A quality win against Vandy doesn't help all that much since they're not that good but a lose will hurt a lot more. IN college football when you're dealing with 18-21 yr old kids, even if you have a better team, there are no guarantees when you go to another team's stadium, specially one that is still SEC.

No reason to instigate political b.s. on this board, and no upside to doing so. :D

Depends on how good those teams might be in their conferences. If TCU or Tech was in the mix for Big XII title and Aggies in the mix for SEC crown, the pollsters would not be able to ignore that accomplishment...especially true if the AAC continues to improve and is racking up non-conference wins vs P5 teams. There is also the possibility that if the PAC continues to be shut out of the playoffs that we will see 8 teams getting in at some point down the road which could further increase our chances.

Attendance is the kind of thing teams who are recruiting against you like to throw in your face. At this point it is just noise, don't fall for it.
