I think somewhere around 85-90 this year. Supposedly Meadows is no longer ΓÇ£discouragingΓÇ¥ music majors from being in the band, as was the case 10-20 years ago.

90 is correct. If they send a band to Memphis, itΓÇÖs a pep band with no marching. And several Meadows kids have concerts over the weekend, so it will be scaled down to 50-60 traveling.

Band members still havenΓÇÖt been given any official email, word, or itinerary.

So true. A distant memory. Dr. D would have rolled over in his grave if he saw anything other than guys & brass.
