I remember when I could sell mine for $800 apiece when I couldn't show up or give them away to friends that We're very grateful to have them.

Truth be known I would have continued to keep those no matter how bad the team got with about a 10% increase each year but when they went from $ 4500 to $13000 well the rest is history. Everyone down there now still have great seats......

A good strategy to keep the arena feeling/looking full for lower demand games, since they can push everybody down towards the court.

I actually like the idea - given where we are right now, but it's a little frustrating to see this kind of plan just two seasons after SMU ran off a bunch of season ticket holders that were contributing much more than $99/year.
