Feel very good about 2020 with Buchelle, Judah Bell coming back, Rice and Roberson (unless he heads to the league). Skill depth next year is [FIRE][FIRE][FIRE]

Also, why not just have the ΓÇ£kickerΓÇ¥ kick the ball out of bounce on kick offs. It will go to the opponents 35 yard line, will save us at worst 10-15 yards and at best saves us from the other team returning it for touchdowns...just a thought if I were the ST coach.

Except it goes to the 40, coach.
Still better than midfield or own own field, or worse touchdowns...

And we get Houston, Navy and Memphis at home which will help
BUT, SMU had a legit kicker quit during fall camp, and Robledo was out with an injury causing all those missed XPs. So without those two things, ST would have been a little better this year. But still awful.

Ha Ha! ..yeah, I knew they pushed on plus 6 on most lines.. but I think Sonny really has bought into the analytics of go for two often, especially when kicking is suspect, and what the hell, the two pointer was working tonight, so let it roll... and being on the road in a track meet, I doubt we win in OT. I liked the aggressiveness. I would not be surprised if we start going for two every time.
3 two point consecutive two point conversions and Buechele punting was great.. at least we had those going for us on special teams.
Just back to the hotel. What a game. Memphis made the big plays when they needed to and SMU showed their fight but just gave themselves too much to do.
Special teams cost us that game.
But what an event to be a part of. This team needs to win the next three.
